Is a 14-year-old filter testing system for HEPA and ULPA filters still competitive? Clearly, we confirm that it is! Installed in 2009 at a well-known European manufacturer of cleanroom filters, faster test cycles due to increased production output were now requested for the AFS 150 test system for automated scan testing of HEPA and ULPA filters. We have upgraded our proven technology with two additional particle counters and reduced the test times by 50%: in the automatic scanner, which tests filters with several scan probes according to ISO 29463-4 (EN 1822-4) and ISO 29463-5 (EN 1822-5), cleanroom filters can now be tested for leakage and filtration efficiency in just two minutes instead of the previous four minutes.
