A Game-Changer for Process Optimization in Surface Technology

In modern production processes, electrostatically charged particles can cause clogging in piping systems or negatively affect sensor signals. Through our new funded project, “GESEenA,” we are developing a method to precisely control the charge state of powder aerosols.

Why is this important? The research findings will lead to improvements not only in medical technology and environmental research, but above all in surface coating. Manufacturing and quality control processes can be optimized:

• Minimization of particle loss
• Reduction of time-related effects
• Enhancement of particle deposition
