The demands on indoor air quality have risen dramatically, due to an increasing awareness of fine dust and aerosols in general, and not least due to the worldwide pandemic situation from 2020 to 2022. Since people spend a large part of their lives indoors, particularly good indoor air has become a sign of quality for the manufacturers of building air conditioning systems. This has long been evident in completely new building ventilation concepts, for example in low-energy houses or hotels. Another important field of application for industrial filters is the protection of high-quality machines and components. Here, too, the demands on supply air quality are constantly increasing.
