The SAG 421 dust generator features a storage hop-per for the dust to be aerosolized. The dust is continuously homogenized in the storage hopper via an agitation mechanism to ensure consistent conditions for solid dosing. Solid dosing is performed via a dosing belt through an opening (height-adjustable slide) in the storage tank. A scraper screw detaches the dust from the dosing belt, and it falls through a hopper into a compressed-air-powered Venturi nozzle, which efficiently disperses the powder stream.
