“Stay innovative” — the theme of the IUTA’s visit to Topas

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming IUTA for a full-day exchange at our facility. With a shared focus on quality control, the goal of this new project is to develop an innovative test system for adsorption filters, which we are able to implement thanks to the Central Innovation Program for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (ZIM).

To be clear: not all the challenges of a pioneering or new project can be solved immediately, but we’ve already discussed some particularly important features during this first meeting:

  • wide range of temperatures and humidity levels

  • automated operation of the test system

  • simple homogenization of samples

In addition to in-depth technical discussions, there was also time during lunch for a relaxed exchange. We are grateful for the continued support and long-standing collaboration with IUTA — a true bridge between science and industry.
