Outdoor and Indoor Aerosols – High-Level Scientific Exchange in Switzerland

What risks do nanoparticles pose? Conversely, how do they contribute positively to environmental protection? The ETH Nanoparticles Conference, an annual interdisciplinary forum held in Zurich, explores all aspects of this topic. Today, on the second day, participants will begin with presentations on nanoparticles generated in ambient air, e.g., during biomass combustion or forest fires. Brake and tire wear as key factors in traffic-related fine dust and microplastic emissions will also be discussed. Our experts are on site at the Topas booth, explaining to the approximately 165 participants how our aerosol technologies contribute to this field of research. Topas technologies enable the simulation and measurement of real-world environmental conditions across a wide range of particle sizes. We’ve already had the pleasure of meeting many familiar faces, as well as some new ones. Look very much forward to further discussions — come to meet us at our booth or during the poster sessions!
