The fog fluid „TopFog Light“ is a mixture of polyhydric alcohols and water for visualizing airflows. The main application is the flow visualization in cleanrooms in connection with the Condensation Fog Generator CFG 291.

The fog fluid TopFog Regular is non-toxic, sterile, free of oil and grease and evaporates after a sufficient time without leaving any residue. Depending on the application, different fog densities may be required. For the generation of more transparent fogs, the fog fluid TopFog Light is recommended.

The generated fog is used for testing of cleanroom environments in accordance with standards or guidelines like ISO 14644 and VDI 2083-3. Possible applications are leak detection in transition areas of cleanrooms, visual detection of low-turbulence air flows or demonstration of overpressure level of cleanrooms.
