Topas is only known for producing aerosol technologies? Far wrong! Topas employees are also active in aerosol science to overcome technological challenges and adapt to customer needs. 

A further example on that is our publication in the Journal of Aerosol Science. To expand the measurable particle number concentration range of optical aerosol spectrometers, our colleague Lukas Oeser et al. developed statistical signal analysis to close the gap between single particle counting and signal fluctuation analysis. The idea was experimentally verified with monodisperse DEHS aerosols in a certain size range and a measurement accuracy of 2 % for median particle size and 5 % for number concentration.
