Clean indoor air thanks to molecular filtration

Two major factors on indoor-air quality are potentially harmful particles and gas molecules. A special new ISO 10121 has been released on molecular air filter testing. There have been several projects on this testing by IUTA (link) using a modified EN 779 test system with ALF 114 duct segments. Now we are designing the first commercially available Gas Adsorption Filter test system GAF 114 for one of our key customers. What are the advantages of our solution? Variety in gas selection: Our technology tests according to standards with different test gases at nominal filter flows. Variety in applications: complete filter elements, filter media and activated carbon fillings can be tested with the new test system. As experts in air filter testing, we have been using the PAF 112 to test vehicle cabin air filters for their gas adsorption capacity in accordance with ISO 11155-2 since 1995.
