Dust measurement for the Blue Angel

How do you measure dust in small combustion plants in practice? How does metrological traceability work? And what role does the calibration of particle counters play for their introduction in small biomass combustion sector? Together with 100 other guests, our engineers travelled to the new Leipzig Technical Centre to discuss these topics at the 3rd symposium on "Dust measurement methods in small combustion plants" and the subsequent 15th symposium on "Particle separators in domestic furnaces". As exhibitors of measuring devices such as ATM 228 Atomizer Aerosol Generator and FCS 249 Field Calibration System, they were able to explain our technology in the field of aerosol generation and measuring device calibration in detail and discussed a wide range of possible applications to an interested audience from public authorities, companies, associations, and representatives of science community. A very exciting exchange - the first time for us - which was organised by the German Biomass Research Centre (DBFZ) and the Technology and Support Centre (TFZ) in Leipzig. See you next time!
